- MoU between Abu Dhabi Media and International Advertising Association cements strategic partnership that will bring 44th edition of global Congress to Abu Dhabi-

Abu Dhai, 8 February 2015:  Abu Dhabi Media and the International Advertising Association today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that confirms the 44th IAA World Congress will be held in the UAE's capital city, Abu Dhabi, in early 2016. The world-renowned bi-annual industry event expects to attract over 1,200 delegates in the marketing, advertising and communications industry from across the globe.

The MoU between the two parties was signed by H.E. Mohamed Ebraheem Al Mahmood, Chairman and Managing Director at Abu Dhabi Media, and Mr. Faris Abouhamad, President, Chairman & World President of the International Advertising Association and President of Interone Resonance. 

In partnership with the IAA, Abu Dhabi Media, one of the fastest growing, multi-platform media and entertainment organizations in the Middle East, will deliver and host the 44th edition of the Congress in which business and communications leaders gather together to listen, network and explore new business opportunities with industry executives from across the globe.

Commenting on the partnership, H.E. Every two years, the IAA World Congress gathers professionals in media, marketing communications and advertising to discuss the latest innovations, trends, challenges and opportunities facing the industry.  The event combines a mixed format of Q&A sessions, panels, networking sessions and keynote speeches to engage both beginners and seasoned practitioners.  Keynote speakers in recent editions of the Congress have included Chief Marketing Officers from Proctor & Gamble, Hewlett-Packard and Unilever, in addition to agency chiefs such as Sir Martin Sorrell and Maurice Levy.
