HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), said: "India is an enormous economic and demographic power at the global level, experiencing high growth rates that contribute to the rise of the middle income groupin the community. This means a greater search by suchemerging groupsfor nearby investment destinations. In the meantime, India and the United Arab Emirates enjoy historical trade relations, and periodic reports issued by the Dubai Land Department indicate that the Dubai property market is of high appeal among Indian investors who always top the foreign property investors list in the Dubai market, in terms of the number of transactions and the gross total value. Such an event will contribute to acquainting more Indian investors with the meaningful opportunities offered to them by Dubai."

Sultan Al Suwaidi, Partner at Sumansa Exhibitions said:  "Dubai, the land of opportunities, has always been open to foreign investment, and has been actively providing avenues for both foreigners and expats to avail such prospects. The property show in London saw fantastic sales figures, which should give an idea of how popular Dubai real estate is abroad. India naturally became our next destination since it is an economically fertile base and is home to more than 14,000 multi-millionaires who are constantly exploring financially rewarding investment prospects. There is also that fact that besides being the largest expat population in the world, Indians are also one of the biggest investors in Dubai real estate.

"We chose Mumbai because the city is the nerve centre of India; a melting pot of different cultures, that is very similar to Dubai. It is also the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of the country and is rated among the six 'billionaire cities' globally. As the centre of commerce, Mumbai serves as an ideal platform for Indian business entrepreneurs to avail tremendous real estate opportunities in Dubai."

Dubai, with its booming realty industry, has been a favorite property destination for many investors. Besides an encouraging and lucrative market, the sheer professionalism and economically feasible opportunities has made Dubai the hub of real estate. With an increasing expat community which regards the emirate as its second home, it is only natural that people would invest in a property in the emirate. The charm is further intensified by the fact that Dubai's real estate comes without capital gain tax and rental tax, which is more attractive to buyers. Moreover, it offers easy documentation, transparency, security and variety while eliminating the restriction on repatriation of funds. The result is the picturesque Dubai skyline that is dotted with beautiful skyscrapers. Little surprise then, that Dubai's real estate features as one of the most preferred property destinations by Britons, Indians and Pakistanis.

Dubai Land Department is the Official Sponsor for the event; and other participants include Emaar, Nakheel, Dubai Properties, Deeyar, Falcon City of Wonders, Al Hamra Real Estate Development, Select Group, Tebyan, MeydanSobha, Damac Properties, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Sports City, Kleindienst Group, Tamleek Property Transfer and many more.
