Boubyan Bank has inked a collaboration agreement with shighel.com platform and App, allowing the bank’s individual customers or SMEs to have access to many benefits from the platform to help grow their marketing and promotion activities.

Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Munaifi, Manager of Innovation & Partnerships at Boubyan Bank, stated: “This agreement comes as a part of the bank's constant endeavors to support its business customers, be they individuals or SMEs, and provide them with all the benefits which could help grow their business and achieve high productivity levels, especially amid the ongoing situation affecting economic sectors due to the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic.”

shighel.com is considered a platform that brings together various freelancers who use their skills and expertise in providing important marketing services for companies such as all forms of photography or design, marketing advertisements or copywriting and other services that help boost sales.

The platform and the App targets the Kuwaiti market and GCC markets with plans to expand regionally in Arab countries and globally to provide more diverse services needed by everyone.

** Substance of the Agreement 

Speaking about the substance of the agreement, Al Munaifi added: “The agreement targets two segments of the bank’s customers; SMEs owners who can benefit from freelance services, and other customers of the bank who can sign up as freelancers.”

“The agreement provides all the bank's individual customers, who seek to sign up as freelancers on the platform, with 40% discount on the annual subscription to be paid to join the platform.”, he added. 

He went on to add: “Moreover, the bank’s SMEs customers may have access to special platform services at various discounted rates including advisory services at 40% discounted rate.”

Al Munaifi elaborated on these discounts: “For details, SMEs customers can contact their relationship managers and may contact the bank’s Contact Center or even reach the platform itself for more details.” 

On the other hand, Mr. Suliman Al Mansour, CEO of shighel.com platform, stated: “The agreement with Boubyan Bank brings a lot of benefits to the bank’s individual customers who are talented and experienced in various fields, and who are interested in working as freelancers. Such customers may benefit from the huge 40% discount granted to them upon subscription.”

“In return, the bank’s SMEs customers seeking the services of freelancers, currently 150+ specialist in different domains, may have swift access to their accurate and professional services coupled with the special discount on some of the services in the platform and the App.”, he added. 

Mr. Al Mansour thanked Boubyan Bank for the partnership which highlights the bank’s constant support of SMEs, and shighel.com is an SME itself, pointing out that the upcoming period will witness more collaboration including the launch of a joint campaign to support SMEs owners.
