Bedaya Center to host Startup MENA Pitch Challenge in Qatar on 17th & 18th March in The Art Center, Katara

Doha, Qatar - 7 March 2015.  Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development will be hosting the ambitious Startup MENA regional GCC Pitch Challenge on March 17th and 18th , 2015 in Katara Building 5 (The Art Center).  Startup MENA launched the series of intense Pitch Events in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Kuwait from February to April 2015 to find and boost the best Technology Startups in the GCC.

The GCC pitch challenge is an exclusive series for only the very top TECH startups, ready to raise investments, gain international exposure and receive crucial mentoring and feedback from an exclusive line-up of mentors.

Of these, only 10 tech startups will be selected for this program. Out of 10 pitching startups in each country, 2 finalists will be selected to pitch in the Grand Final hosted at Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi on April 29th , 2015. Featuring the 12 most exciting and innovative startups from the region, 12 entrepreneurs will present their bullet-proof pitch in front of international investors and VIP guests and the winner will receive a €20,000 cash prize

Bedaya Center and Startup MENA will also be hosting a one day workshop for students who want to learn about how to become an entrepreneur on March 19th, 2015 at Katara Building 15, given by Mr Jordan Schlipf, an experienced and widely popular entrepreneurship mentor. Through the day the students will get hand-on tools and knowledge to how to start their own business. This workshop is free but with limited spaces.
