ArabFinance: State-run Banque Misr teamed up with the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation to set up the bank’s ATMs across the 71 existing stations of Cairo metro, according to an August 23rd press release.

Banque Misr has installed ATMs at 10 stations as a first stage, while the remaining stops will be set up throughout 2020.

This is the first-of-kind protocol that allows a bank to cover all Cairo metro stations with ATMs, the bank stated.

The Egyptian bank owns more than 2,800 ATMs equipped with the latest technologies.

Cairo metro announced last week new ticket prices for all lines.

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el Sisi recently opened the fourth phase of Cairo Metro Line 3.
