MANAMA: The Bahrain-Saudi Joint Business Council has stressed industrial integration between the two countries to reinvigorate trade.

A meeting of the council co-chaired by Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass and Abdulrahman Al Otaishan from Saudi Arabia also deliberated about projects in renewable energy, updates on the new causeway linking both countries, conducting market studies, and other topics of mutual interest.

Mr Nass commended the support of the leadership of both countries, and asserted the importance of efforts to enhance economic gains and achieve industrial integration.

Mr Al Otaishan shed light on the areas of co-operation, particularly in future development projects.
