GOIC: COVERTECH's Official Sponsor

The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) took part in the International Exhibition for Wall and Floor Covering Technologies (COVERTECH) as the official sponsor of the event. The exhibition was inaugurated today and will continue from the 4th till the 6th of February, 2015 at Doha Exhibition Centre in Qatar.

GOIC Secretary General Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel gave a speech during the business partnership forum between the Gulf and Ukraine "Bridging for Business" held today on the sidelines of the exhibition. During his address, the Secretary General stated that GOIC was keen to sponsor COVERTECH Qatar 2015 as part of its continuous efforts to organise, support and sponsor specialised international exhibitions and events that are the best ways to develop businesses and industrial sectors. Such events are also key to build and develop local capacities, particularly in the area of SMEs, allowing them to achieve global competitiveness.

Al-Ageel said: "GOIC strongly believes that Gulf countries, including Qatar, are replete with promising investment opportunities, which boost economies and development. Thus, the Organization deploys best efforts to promote industrial investment and development in GCC countries. In this regard, GOIC is currently preparing to host "Invest in Qatar Forum" in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Industry in the upcoming months. This forum aims at shedding light on available investment opportunities in Qatar drafted by GOIC, for investors to seize.

GOIC Secretary General added: "The broad investment environment in the State of Qatar allows establishing several projects, where "COVERTECH" assists paving the way for some of these ventures. We hope that this exhibition will form an opportunity for local Qatari and Gulf companies and international companies to exchange expertise, make deals and build relationships. GOIC will seek to strengthen business relationships between Gulf and foreign companies taking part in this exhibition, particularly through B2B meetings between suppliers, technology providers and procurers and investors. We would like to wish all good efforts great success to develop the industrial sector and promote business cooperation between GCC countries for the best of GCC countries.

During the event, GOIC will organise B2B matchmaking meetings between GCC and Italian companies to create potential business opportunities and strengthen multilateral business relationships between GCC and Italian companies. The objective of the matchmaking event is to facilitate One to One meetings between, suppliers, technology providers, buyers, and investors to further assist in bringing forward fruitful discussions, hence creating long-term bilateral relationships. Possible areas for matchmaking include investment opportunities, relocations for international suppliers, new technologies, partnerships, joint ventures and supply chain to enhance the trade balance.

Furthermore, GOIC's section in the exhibition offers information about its various programs such as the GCC Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange Program (GSPX), the Industrial Market Intelligence Portal (IMI Plus), the Training and Capacity Development Program (TCD), the Industrial Technical Assistance Program (ITA), the Manufacturing Investment Opportunities Program (MIOP) and the Industrial Studies and Policies Program (ISP).
