Dubai, UAE – Dubai Economy has honored Samsung Gulf Electronics with the coveted Dubai Quality Global Awards 2021 at the annual Business Excellence Awards that recognized the brand for maintaining the highest professional standards in organizational practices and performance.

Samsung Gulf Electronics was announced the category winner in the 2020 cycle of the Business Excellence Awards having exceeded the criteria in business practices, customer services, and performance. The announcement was made on June 28th under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The award assess brands accordingly to the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), where the level of excellence is classified according to a star system ranging from 3 to 7. The Dubai Economic Department comprehensively evaluated Samsung’s Customer Service Division in the areas of leadership, strategy, people, partnerships, and resources, with Samsung receiving the 6 star recognition under the Dubai Quality Global Awards. In addition, achievements were measured in four sub-criteria: customer results, people results, society results, and business results.

The Business Excellence Awards is a mainstay amongst the initiatives Dubai Economy has launched to promote quality and excellence as a catalyst for further growth and development throughout the business landscape. The event also makes invaluable contributions to the Government of Dubai’s long-term vision, encouraging global best practices’ adoption across the emirate and the UAE to elevate competitiveness and sustainability.
