Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Tawazun Economic Council (TEC) is taking part in Dubai Airshow 2015, which takes place from 8 to 12 November at the Dubai World Central (DWC).

H.E. Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, Chief Executive Officer of Tawazun Economic Council, stressed the importance of participating in the event, since it emerges as a platform to showcase the latest technologies and solutions in military and commercial aviation.

Al Hajeri said: "Dubai Airshow counts as one of the largest and most successful air shows in the world, connecting aerospace professionals across all areas of the industry to facilitate successful global trade. Following several years of involvement in the show and many fruitful partnerships established at previous editions of the event, we look forward to another successful participation of Tawazun Economic Council at the show."

Matar Ali Al Romaithi, the Chief Officer of Industrial Development Unit at Tawazun Economic Council, added: "Our participation in the 15th edition of Dubai Airshow, which is set to be the biggest yet, is particularly important due to the massive opportunities we intend to promote among partners and manufacturers from all over the world."

He noted that TEC will seize the opportunity of taking part in this biennial event to connect with many partners from the defence and aviation industries to discuss joint ventures and investment opportunities in the UAE.

The Tawazun Economic Program, formerly known as the UAE Offset Program, was established in early 1992 to diversify the UAE's economy and create new ventures in various sectors by partnering with international defense contractors.
