HAMBURG- * Turkey's state grain board TMO made an initial purchase of about 15,000 tonnes of rice in a series of international tenders which closed on Tuesday, traders said
* The purchase involved some 7,000 tonnes of long grain type A rice, 7,000 tonnes of long grain type C rice and 1,000 tonnes of calrose medium grain rice, they said
* The board had sought very rapid shipment between March 26 to April 16
