Saudi-based Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company (AWPT) has signed a contract with Riyadh Airports Company for the second phase of upgradation work related to the sewage network in King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
 
One of the leading Saudi utility companies with excellent track record in water and wastewater field, AWPT specialises in providing EPC, construction and O&M services. It designs, constructs, operates, maintains and manages all types of water and wastewater projects.
 
The contract, worth SR37.7 million ($10.3 million), was awarded last month by the Saudi group, said AWPT in its filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul.
 
Once the site at King Khalid International Airport gets handed over, the company will start the upgradation work which will be completed within nine months, it stated.
 
The financial impact of the project is expected in the first half of 2021, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
