Ken Jamieson was appointed as the General Manager of Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), one of the most sophisticated convention and exhibition centres in the world, operated by AMLAK.

Speaking on his recent appointment, Ken Jamieson said, "I am excited to take on this new challenge with QNCC and build on the solid foundations laid down since its inception. My aim is to reestablish QNCC as a venue that is beyond a convention centre, but an international learning exchange environment, where the customer experience is at the core of everything we do. It is through creativity and innovation, integrity and teamwork that we will continue to deliver excellence, while retaining our unique Qatari hospitality."

Following a year working with AMLAK's venue management team, Ken brings a wealth of knowledge, derived from his 24 years of regional event experience, working with Informa Plc, IIR Middle East, Dubai World Trade Centre and the ITP Publishing Group.  A creative, proactive and engaging business leader, Ken has proven expertise in creating, developing and delivering major exhibitions, conferences, awards, live and sporting events in the Middle East.

Since its opening, QNCC has played host to some of the most prominent events from across the world and is instrumental in bringing the 2030 Qatar National Vision to life.
