Muscat: In line with government's orientation to amend approved tariff categories for a citizen's account for the residential category, Mazoon Electricity Company, the leading electricity provider in Oman issued recalculated bills for the months of May, June and July as per the new categories last week.

Mazoon Electricity Company also issued a regular bill for July 2021 which included all details as per the new tariff updates issued by Authority for Public Services Regulation. The July bill is currently available in the standard format on mobile apps ONEIC Bill&Pay and OIFC Khedmah.

The company offered installment service for bills due for the months of May, June, and July 2021 by contacting the Contact Center 80077771.

In case the customer has already paid the dues for May and June, the amounts paid will be deducted and that will appear in the total dues field of the July bill.

Mazoon Electricity issued a notification with a summary of total consumption of May, June, and July 2021 in addition to a detailed bill for July. With the intention to spread awareness about the newly announced category, all updates are published on the Mazoon Electricity’s social media accounts and dedicated staff respond to all customer queries through social media accounts and Contact Center.”
