MOSCOW, Oct 23 (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Wednesdaythat the United States had betrayed and abandoned the SyrianKurds and advised the Kurds to withdraw from the Syrian borderas per a deal between Moscow and Ankara or be mauled by theTurkish army.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the comments to Russiannews agencies. He complained that it appeared that the UnitedStates was encouraging the Kurds to stay close to the Syrianborder and fight the Turkish army.
