Saudi Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. announced on Sunday that it has been awarded a contract worth 103,504,500 Saudi riyals ($27.6 million) by Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia for steel power transmission towers.

The transmission towers would be used for the 380 kV ultra-high-voltage line from Arar station to Rafha station, the Saudi firm said in a stock exchange statement.

The period of supply is from May 2021 to July 2022, the statement added.
