Manama: Seef Properties, one of the leading integrated real estate development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has recently signed a lease agreement with Lamb Chef Group of Restaurants in Saudi Arabia to open its first branch in Bahrain.

The agreement stipulates allocating a space of 400 m2 to host the restaurant within Al Liwan project; one of the promising projects being developed by Seef Properties through Lama Real Estate W.L.L in Hamala area in the Northern Governorate.

Lamb Chef is one of the most popular restaurants in Saudi Arabia and has several branches there, as well as two others outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, namely in Egypt and the UAE.

Founded by Mr. Abdulwahab Al Ghamdi and Mr. Mohammed Sarhan, the chain has a rich menu with fusion charcoal grilled lamb meat that combines the traditional Saudi taste with Greek flavors.

The unique food provided at Lamb Chef is fueled by the Founders' passion for cooking, which resulted in the establishment of a wide customer base in a short span of time, won food critics' admiration and became a favorite destination for foodies from Saudi Arabia and abroad, including Bahrain.

On this occasion, Seef Properties Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ahmed Yusuf stated: "We are delighted to welcome Lamb Chef Group of Restaurants in Al Liwan and we take pride in being the hosts of the reputed chain's first branch in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This reflects the strategic location of the project in the heart of the Northern Governorate and its geographical proximity to the King Fahd Causeway, which connects Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, making Al Liwan a preferred destination for Saudi investments and prominent brands."

Mr. Yusuf added: "Following the completion of the project's construction works and final touches, Al Liwan continues to attract several prestigious brands in the fields of retail, food and hospitality, due to its modern concept, multi-purpose facilities and generous innovative space, which is designed to meet all tastes and desires."

For his part, Lamb Chef Group of Restaurants Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulwahab Al Ghamdi said: "We are glad to open our first restaurant in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and we are also pleased to choose Al Liwan project to launch our new branch, which will offer our valued customers a unique dining experience as they are accustomed to when they visit us in Saudi Arabia. Al Liwan Project is the perfect choice for our new plan to expand to Bahrain, thanks to the facilities and advantages it offers that are not available in other real estate projects and its variety of facilities that make it the most suitable choice for any commercial project."

Occupying 122,000 square meters, Al Liwan Project oversees Wali Al Ahd Highway and consists of a unique blend of shopping and entertainment destinations, with seven cinema halls and the largest entertainment center on the island. The project also includes a fully equipped gym and a select array of renowned restaurants, coffee shops and outlets to provide the best experience for visitors. Seef Properties has also recently announced the signing of a leasing agreement with BinDawood Holding in Saudi Arabia, under which the Company will open a branch of Danube Supermarket at Al Liwan.
