His Excellency Dr Ali bin Amur Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of Communications at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, will participate as a keynote speaker of the first webinar, where he will highlight how 5G will help achieve Oman Vision 2040 objectives related to digital transformation.

5G offers increased download and video call speed, enables Internet of Things (IoT), uninterrupted connections on the move, multiple-device connections, telemedicine, remote learning solutions, enhanced virtual reality and augmented reality among a slew of other benefits. With its 5G speeds reaching multiple gigabits, Omantel is empowering and enabling internet users as well as Oman’s economy.
