Dubai, UAE: GEMS Education celebrates the UAE Flag Day, the special occasion on the annual calendar that sees celebrations taking place across the Emirates.
GEMS students, teachers and staff have come together to mark the occasion, responding to the call made by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inviting the population to raise the UAE flag at precisely 11am on Wednesday.
In the presence of staff and students of different nationalities, all wearing the colours of the UAE flag, flags were proudly hoisted above all GEMS Education schools in the country.
