Manama, Bahrain - Bahrain based Public Relations firm with a prime focus on Financial Technology; Andra Public Relations has announced their 9th FinTech Series powered by Kuwait Finance House Bahrain (KFH Bahrain); one of the leading Islamic banks and an integral contributor to the evolution of Bahrain’s Islamic Financial sector. The virtual event is titled “SME Digitization: challenges and opportunities”, and will be held on Tuesday, June 29th at 12:30PM, in celebration of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day next week.

Andra Public Relations aims to raise public awareness of SMEs contribution to sustainable development and the global economy along with discussing how digitization is changing SMEs and creating new opportunities. The panel will highlight several crucial topics including how digitization is changing SMEs and creating new opportunities, the concept of Digital Maturity for SMEs, how digital solutions contribute to SMEs’ growth such as mobile payments, online digital tools, e-commerce and how to address the challenges and risks moving forward.

The panel speakers include Halil Aksu; CEO and Co-Founder of Digitopia, Mrs. Khulood Rashid Alqattan; Board Member at the Bahrain Society for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (BDSMEs) Mahmood G. AlMahmood; Executive Manager - Head of Corporate & SME Banking at KFH Bahrain, and Fatema Ebrahim; CEO of Andra PR and Board Member at EDB Bahrain.

The FinTech series hosted 8 events until now successfully, with 40+ local and international speakers and an outstanding number of 500+ attendees in partnership with well-renowned corporations, startups and financial institutions including  BENEFIT, Microsoft, BIBF, Tamkeen, University of Strathclyde, Al Salam Bank, Aion Digital, Al Baraka Banking Group, the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance, RSquare, Innervate Technology Solutions UK, Bahrain FinTech Bay, and more. The recent 8th edition was held in April this year titled Financial Inclusion: The way forward’.
