Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Total investments of Emirati banks in bonds and stocks soared by AED 6.1 billion or 1.4% on a month-on-month (MoM) basis in November 2020 to reach AED 454.2 billion, according to data from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).

This is compared to AED 448.1 billion in October 2020.

The UAE banks’ investments in debt securities increased by AED 3.5 billion on a monthly basis in November, standing at AED 284.9 billion.

Likewise, banks’ investments in stocks jumped by AED 300 million in November when compared to the previous month.
