Tadawul, Edaa issue draft rules for short selling, stock borrowing

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) have jointly published the amended drafts of the short selling regulations and the securities borrowing and lending regulations.
Tadawul and Edaa said in a statement on Sunday that they are keen to involve all concerned and interested parties to participate and share their observations on the regulatory frameworks for the market.
The draft rules and regulations are available through Tadawul’s website.
Moreover, Tadawul said that it will be receiving feedback and consultations until Sunday 23 February 2020.
