SCI distributes sacrificial meat to 65,000 beneficiaries

SHARJAH- The Sharjah Charity International, SCI, has announced the distribution of sacrificial meat to 65,000 beneficiaries.

Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, SCI’s Executive Director, expressed his pleasure at the success of the campaign in achieving the pre-determined target of 2,500 sacrifices, and exceeded 6,500, with an unprecedented increase of 160 percent, thus reflecting the confidence that the SCI has among its donors.

He stressed that expanding the base of beneficiaries even served many families, who had come down from several areas including Al Madam, Al Batayeh, Al Dhaid, Kalba, Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn.

Bin Khadem added that all necessary precautionary and preventive measures had been taken while butchering and delivering the sacrificial meat, thanking the competent authorities in the Central Abattoirs for their efforts and the Sharjah Police for its role in organising the traffic during distribution.
