Bahrain has announced plans to send emergency medical aid and oxygen equipment to Pakistan amid rising Covid-19 cases.

This follows a series of Cabinet decisions, according to a statement.

The support extended by Bahrain to Pakistan in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic is within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two nations, it said.

The kingdom also expressed its solidarity with Pakistan and its people in tackling the crisis and the support is a reflection of the strong bilateral relations and the continuing commitment to support international viral mitigation efforts, the statement added.
