418 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Wednesday

Of the 5,844 active cases, 104 are receiving treatment and 132 in critical condition

Bahrain yesterday recorded 418 new Covid-19 cases alongside 870 recoveries and four fatalities.

Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,330.

The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 187 were expat workers, 228 contacts of local cases and three travel-related.

An additional 870 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 256,933.

Of the 5,844 active cases, 104 are receiving treatment and 132 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 264,107 cases.

The kingdom has conducted 4,951,227 virus tests.
