Cairo –  Telecom Egypt signed a protocol of cooperation with Marakez, a subsidiary of Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co, to provide integrated communications and internet services to the projects owned by the property developer.

Under the protocol, the telecom operator will extend its communications services to the projects owned by Marakez, according to a statement on Sunday.

These services include landline phone services, internet ADSL, and internet protocol television (IPTV).

The protocol was signed by the CEO and Managing Director of Telecom Egypt, Adel Hamed, and the CEO of Marakez, Basil Ramzy.

In 2020, Telecom Egypt’s net profits increased by 10% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 4.9 billion.
