MANAMA: APM Terminals Bahrain has announced that its managing director Susan Hunter will leave the company on April 30 this year.

The operator of Bahrain’s Khalifa Bin Salman Port said Ms Hunter has decided to pursue an opportunity outside of the company.

The board has started the process of appointing a successor and an announcement will be made in due course, it added.

During her tenure as managing director starting January last year, Ms Hunter advanced a strategic and transformational agenda for the company, strengthening the management team, and promoting existing talent.

“Notably, Ms Hunter and her team responded with great urgency and determination to face the unique challenge of Covid-19, protecting customers and employees alike,” said chairman David Skov.
