ArabFinance: The legal-technical committee handling issues over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) began its work on August 21st, the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation said in a statement.
The committee will operate until August 28th based on the decision reached by the irrigation ministers from Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia.
An initial draft was made to set all points of agreement and disagreement among the three African states.
Tripartite negotiations on the GERD have resumed on August 18th.
