Eagle Hills in deal to bring Reel Cinemas to Bahrain

MANAMA: UAE-based Emaar Entertainment is partnering with Eagle Hills Diyar to take Reel Cinemas, the company’s own cinema brand, to Bahrain.

Reel Cinemas will be the authorised cinema partner for the Marassi Galleria beachfront mall in the Diyar Al Muharraq island city. The multiplex will feature 10 screens and the debut of Reel Cinemas’ ‘Dine-In’ cinema concept.

Dr Maher Al Shaer, managing director of Eagle Hills Diyar, said, “We are delighted to be signing this agreement with Reel Cinemas and we are proud to be the first in the kingdom to host the UAE-based giant. We aim to provide the visitors of Marassi Galleria with the highest calibre of entertainment offerings.”

Comprising 200,000sqm of gross floor area, Marassi Galleria is expected to be completed by H2-2022.

The mall will also be home to a 2,400sqm aquarium, also managed by Emaar Entertainment.
