Cairo – The value of Bahraini investments in 216 projects in Egypt has reached $3.2 billion, Egyptian trade and industry minister Neven Gamee stated on Thursday.

These investments are focused on finance, constructions, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, services, telecom, and information technology, Gamee added, according to a statement.

The minister noted that the value of bilateral trade between Egypt and Bahrain recorded $392.5 million during the first nine months of 2019.

Trade exchange between the two countries should be enlarged to match the level of the excellent economic and political relations between them, Gamee said.
