Dubai: Top leaders from Asia and around the world will convene virtually at the Seventh ABLF Talks Virtual Conclave of 2021 on July 6, 2021. Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, UAE and in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Economy, the monthly leadership series, that brings together the most prominent voices of Asia in dynamic dialogues focusing on post-pandemic socio-economic recovery, will be held at the cutting-edge virtual venue, the ABLF City, developed by SMART IEDEA. 

This month’s ABLF Talks Virtual Conclave will see an impressive lineup of Speakers with veterans from diverse fields including H.E. Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Bahrain, H.E. H.E. Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Bahrain

H.E. Zayed R. Alzayani’s visionary outlook has anchored Bahrain’s economy through turbulent times. H.E. Alzayani’s session at the ABLF Talks will discuss the pathway towards a more diversified financial system as well the immense potential in tourism that can be leveraged to counter the economic challenges wrought by the pandemic.

H.E. Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), UAE

H.E. Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal is one of the UAE’s most respected business icons who led Shurooq to transform Sharjah into a thriving business, cultural and investment destination. H.E. Al Sarkal will discuss how Shurooq placed sustainability, conservation and inclusivity at its core to drive the Emirate’s myriad infrastructure and development projects. 

Michael Garin, CEO, twofour54 Abu Dhabi, UAE

As CEO of twofour54 Abu Dhabi, the Emirate’s media and entertainment hub, Michael Garin has facilitated a vibrant ecosystem of local and global partners that enables and inspires the creation of the most creative and innovative content. The media veteran will highlight how production activities continued at twofour54 despite the humongous challenges posed by COVID-19.

Renuka Jagtiani, Chairwoman and CEO, Landmark Group, UAE

One of the most iconic Asian businesswomen in the region, for over 25 years, Renuka Jagtiani guided the Landmark Group’s corporate strategy and oversaw its expansion in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent. At her session at the ABLF Talks, the charismatic leader will discuss how empathetic, inclusive and astute leadership can steer an organization out of any crisis.

Ramez Shehadi, Managing Director - MENA, Facebook

Ramez Shehadi leads the commercial growth and impact of Facebook and its expanding portfolio of apps, services and businesses across the region. With the social media giant recently becoming the first company to reach a valuation of $1 trillion, Ramez’s session will explore Facebook’s expansion, its efforts to bolster SME growth and the ways in which it’s giving back to society.

Tomaso Rodriguez, CEO Talabat

The pandemic has changed the way we look at food and grocery delivery with apps like Talabat proving to be the lifeline for a locked down country. How did Talabat, an online food and delivery industry leader cope with the increased demand and how did they leverage technology to ensure swift, safe deliveries for customers and stakeholders? Talabat CEO Tomaso Rodriguez will share his perspective at the ABLF Talks.

Kabir Bedi, Actor and Author
