Abu Dhabi, UAE – Beirut Institute has announced the launch of the Fall/Winter season of its e-Policy Circles which will commence on Wednesday, September 16 at 10 AM - EST- 2PM- GMT - 5PM- Beirut time, 6PM - Abu Dhabi.

The weekly e-Policy Circles hosted by Dr. Raghida Dergham were launched in May as a lead up to Beirut Institute Summit Edition IV in Abu Dhabi in 2021 under the theme of Stability Redefined – Who Authors the Future. The sessions bring together regional and global stakeholders to openly discuss social, economic and political stability as it is being redefined amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and other recent geo-political developments.

The first virtual discussion session will host HE Michelle Bachelet - UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Each e-Policy Circle typically welcomes 4 delegates from the Beirut Institute Summit global network including political leaders, senior policy makers, prominent thinkers, major CEOs, and civil society leaders in one-hour sessions on Zoom every Wednesday at 10 AM-EST, 2PM-GMT, 5PM-Beirut time, 6PM-Abu Dhabi.  

The virtual discussions stimulate and facilitate constructive conversations about the future of industries and nations, following recent challenges and opportunities that have arisen. Key questions and topics that are addressed include the political landscape, security, new and emerging paradigms, unemployment, and how these experiences will reshape the ambitions and expectations of current and future generations.

Speakers are invited to express their forward-looking thoughts and offer proactive perspectives on what should be done to navigate the current challenges. The e-Policy Circles are live streamed on Beirut Institute Facebook page and recorded so that they can be viewed through the platform, on the Beirut Institute YouTube channel and on Beirut Institute website.
