Sharjah: A delegation from Expo Centre Sharjah, headed by Mr. Sultan Shattaf, Director, Business Development & Marketing, will be heading towards Las Vegas to attend the jewellery industry’s largest North American trade event, JCK Las Vegas 2019, from May 31 to June 3, 2019.
The participation comes ahead of the launch of the 47th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show 2019 which will be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from October 1 to 5, 2019.
“Our aim is to explore new trade opportunities and to be acquainted with the fast-growing development in watch and jewellery globally, in addition to contributing to the growth of watch & jewellery industry through holding partnerships with the finest of North America’s jewellery brands and retail chains to come to the region soon,” H.E. Saif Mohammed Al-Midfa CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah said.
He also added: “Our visit will be a good chance to promote the region’s only biannual watch and jewellery event - Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, which is organized and hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah with the participation of more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 countries and attracted more than 120,000 visitors during its five-day run”.
“JCK Las Vegas 2019 is an opportunity to open up avenues of cooperation and partnership with international brands, most importantly US brands. The participation falls under the Centre’s keenness on reinforcing our reputation and developing our events and activities. This comes in line with the new strategic plan 2018 – 2022 and its schedule of visits abroad,” the Centre added.
Additionally, JCK Las Vegas 2019 is an important platform, through which, the Expo Centre Sharjah delegation will meet with large number of exhibitors, with an aim of introducing the benefits of taking part in the Watch & Jewellery
Middle East Show and the most prominent incentives, facilities, and services provided by Expo Centre to exhibitors.
Being the North America’s largest annual trade event, JCK features more than 2,300 exhibiting vendors from around the globe, nearly 23,000 individual retailers and more than 9,400 retail stores ranging from independents, major department stores, boutiques, and galleries.
This makes JCK Las Vegas 2019 one of the most important jewellery exhibitions which enable retailers to make their transactions in a safe and pleasant environment.
