In the spirit of sharing joyous occasions and festive holidays with its customers, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has fully stocked its mobile ATMs with new currency notes for Eid Al Fitr, as it always strives to support its customers anywhere, anytime. 

A variety of bill types in different denominations have been provided through ATMs effective last Saturday including: KD 5 and KD 10 banknotes, throughout various governorates across Kuwait. This service is available during two shifts, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Moreover, customers may withdraw new currency notes through NBK Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) available at the Avenues from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 2:30 am.

"NBK has always been keen on celebrating joyous holidays with its valued customers by providing them with the opportunity to withdraw new currency notes through NBK Mobile ATMs located across different regions and governorates. This is part of the Bank’s efforts to provide the best services and most convenient solutions to meet customers’ needs and interests." said Maitham Al-Salem, ATM Channel Manager at National Bank of Kuwait. 

Al-Salem confirmed that NBK ATM network is readily available to serve the bank’s customers throughout Eid Al-Fitr holiday. Dedicated employees are assigned to fully stock the machines during the holidays to cover the expected increase in ATM cash withdrawals during that period.

He also highlighted that NBK ATMs are constantly prepared to meet customers’ needs, both on regular days and during holidays and different occasions, thanks to the ATM network operating system which follows the latest, most advanced and safest banking technologies. 

Al-Salem added that providing new currency notes was well received last year by NBK customers, with ATM cash withdrawals reaching a total of 14,668 transactions worth KD 900,000.

NBK continues to strengthen its leadership position in the banking sector by maintaining the largest network of banking services in Kuwait, provided through 68 branches, in addition to a wide network exceeding more than 13,000 Point of Sale (POS) and 8,000 NFC-enabled devices. NBK also has the widest network of over 316 ATMs, including 99 Cash Deposit Machines (CDM) located around Kuwait.
