Mr. Derbas continues role as General Manager of the St. Regis Doha, the Finest Address in Qatar
Qatar, Doha: Tareq Derbas has been appointed as Area General Manager of Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Middle East. Derbas will also continue his position as the General Manager of the St. Regis Doha, the Finest Address in Qatar. In his new role, Mr. Derbas will continue to oversee the day to day operations of The St. Regis Doha, as well as the expansion of the Starwood's growing portfolio across key markets in the Middle East.
A seasoned hotelier with more than 25 years of international experience, Derbas has held senior executive positions with some of the world's finest luxury hotels brands prior to his current position, including the Four Seasons Hotels in Amman and Riyadh as well as Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
Commenting about his recent appointment, Mr. Derbas said: "I am honoured to continue working with an iconic and landmark property in Doha, as we further cement our place as the finest address in Qatar.
