Abu Dhabi University, ADU, has signed an MoU with the Arts, Sciences and Technology University in Lebanon, AUL, to offer exchange programmes, training initiatives, as well as knowledge sharing platforms to students of both institutions.

Dr. Waqar Ahmad, ADU’s Interim Chancellor and Dr. Adnan Hamza, AUL Director, signed the three-year renewable agreement, to establish a framework for continuous collaboration between the two parties to prepare a strategic plan that includes phased objectives such as creating new academic programmes, facilitating collaborative work between the parties in areas of interest, and providing students with more credit transfer options, enhanced learning resources and social programmes.

ADU’s Interim Chancellor said, "ADU is committed to empowering younger generations and equipping them with the skills required for shaping the future. Our partnership with AUL in Lebanon reiterates our belief that education should not be limited to classrooms and theoretical learning. Through our synergy with AUL, we hope to open new horizons for our students via hosting knowledge sharing platforms such as workshops, seminars and exchange programmes. We are confident students of both institutions will draw immense value and inspiration from this collaboration." AUL Director said, "The UAE’s pioneering experience in growth and modernisation is widely recognised as a global benchmark. Through our agreement with Abu Dhabi University, we would like our students at AUL to understand some of the dynamics that contributed to this success. We also look forward to showcasing Lebanon and sharing our experiences with ADU students through this partnership that we believe will add a new and interesting dimension to their learning process."
