Manama: VIVA Bahrain, through its Corporate Social Responsibility arm, VIVA Jusoor, and in coordination with the Human Resources, has kicked off its Summer Internship Program for the ninth consecutive year, providing local students an opportunity to attain extensive on-job training that complements their education.

The program involves Bahraini students that will undergo professional and technical training through work-related projects and assignments for a period of two months starting from July. As a fast-moving and highly dynamic telecommunications company, the program is structured as a stepping-stone to students’ careers, providing them with real-time exposure of the various departments within the company.

The program reflects VIVA's commitment and long-term vision towards empowering the different segments of the Bahraini society. More than 50,000 internship training hours have been completed by students from national and International educational institutions through VIVA’s multiple talent development programs since 2011, including its previous Graduate Development Program which has earned regional recognition as the ‘Best Graduate Trainee Program across Middle East.
