RIYADH: The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) ascertained that total sales from family businesses increased to approximately SR4,000 ($1,064) per week through "Koshk Tojjar," an online platform for home-based businesses.

Hadaf launched the initiative "9/10ths," which provides home-based businesses access to electronic platforms to continue working. The initiative aims to support families by providing them with the space to display and sell their products in specific areas (kiosks) in the buildings of big enterprises in government agencies or the private sector.

The new development would provide sellers access to e-platforms such as Forsah, TojjarX, Jahez, Zadd, Bahr, Kanaf, Made in KSA, Atwar, and Akshak Tojjar, which encourage entrepreneurship and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and empower individuals to create new jobs through innovation.

The "9/10ths" program is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program by encouraging entrepreneurship and improving the environment for SMEs to develop into job-producing establishments.
