JEDDAH — Saham Group, through its subsidiary Saham Services, has announced the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Pioneers Outsourcing, the Saudi Arabia-based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) operator, which has experienced powerful growth since its creation in 2014.

In the continuity of its Middle East development strategy, this acquisition will allow Saham Services to expand its outreach in the Arabian Gulf, and notably in the Arab world’s leading economy, Saudi Arabia. This implantation takes place within the context of the country’s initiatives to open the door to the service sector by placing innovation at the heart of its vision.

This investment follows the 2015 acquisition of the operator Ecco Outsourcing, a company firmly established in Egypt and the Arabian Gulf. Saham Services is assuming the position of a key player in outsourcing services in the Middle East, in response to the growing expectations of local and regional companies.

As a complement to its activity in the Middle East, Saham Services is also pursuing development on the African continent through its historic subsidiary Phone Group, a pioneer in Offshoring activities in Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Senegal.

This expansion, successful on a continental scale, demonstrates once more the commitment of Saham Group to invest fully in the development of basic individual needs services in Africa and the Middle East.

“We already offer services to strategic clients in Saudi Arabia through our CRM/BPO platforms in Egypt, and this strong growth operation will allow us to considerably accelerate our development in the Gulf region, as well as to strengthen our impact in the areas of innovation and the reinvention of Customer Relationship Business, and more broadly, of the field of outsourcing services,” declared Otmane Serraj, general manager of the Outsourced Services Division of Saham Group.

“Through this integration to Saham Services, Pioneers Outsourcing seeks to assume a global dimension and to offer our services and solutions to a much wider range of clients. Belonging to Saham Group will add value and enrich the type and quality of service that we can offer to Pioneers Outsourcing clients, who will now benefit from a transfer of good practices as well as new outsourcing destinations and linguistic capacities, which constitute unique assets in today’s Saudi market,” added Mansour Al-Ajmi, founder and general manager of Pioneers Outsourcing. — SG
