Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel, a luxury five-star hotel located in the centre of Abu Dhabi, has appointed Mir Shamir as the new director of revenue.

Joining the hotel from Towers Rotana Dubai, Shamir brings a wealth of more than 20 years of GCC experience in revenue management and room reservations. He has previously worked with leading hospitality brands in the region such as Rotana, Meridian and Intercontinental.

Shamir will be focusing on developing strategies to maximize rooms revenue based on his deep understanding of the market dynamics and long experience in budgeting and forecasting, rate setting and strategic sales.

Commenting on his appointment, Shamir said: “I am thrilled to be part of Grand Millennium Al Wahda.
