Emaar Properties has announced that the construction of its 18-hole par-72 championship golf course, designed by Dubai Hills Golf Club, is completed.

Developed as a joint venture between Emaar Properties and Meraas Holding, the golf course is set on 119 hectares – nearly the size of 63 football fields – and features a series of valleys and wadis, and a network of lakes, according to a company statement.

“Adding to the choice of residents in Dubai Hills Estate, one of the most sought-after residential destinations in the city, Dubai Hills Golf Club is central to the mega-developments lifestyle ethos,” Emaar said.

In August, Emaar Properties reported an 18% year-on-year growth in net profit during the first six months of 2018, recording AED 3.344 billion ($910 million).
