Mubasher: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Wednesday has issued three-tranche treasury bills (T-bills) worth QAR 1.1 billion ($306.8 million).

The first QAR 600 million tranche will mature after three months with a yield of 2.18%, according to recent data by the (QCB).

The second six-month tranche stood at QAR 300 million, maturing on 5 March 2019 with a return of 2.48%, the bank said.

The third nine-month tranche will mature on 4 June 2019 at a value of QAR 200 million with a yield of 2.73%.

The QCB issues these T-bills within the framework of improving Qatar’s monetary policy.
