DUBAI  - Oman is seeking international energy partners to develop its ultra-heavy Habhab oilfield, according to the Oman Observer.

Habhab, based in South Oman and part of the Block 6 concession of Petroleum Development Oman, will be offered to companies that have the technical capabilities and investment, the newspaper reported, quoting an energy official.

Habhab will be “packaged separately”, Salman bin Mohammed al Shidi, director general of management of petroleum investments at Oman's Ministry of Oil and Gas was quoted as saying.
