Abu Dhabi: As part of the much-awaited Innovation week, Dalma Mall was one of the innovation hubs for major Government announcements.

Ministry of Interior (MoI) kicked started their ‘Innovation Center’ on 2nd February in line with UAE’s vision held under the title ‘UAE Innovates for the Next 50 Years’. MOI displayed a number of innovations and used technologies under the directives of the UAE government that focus on creativity and excellence with the aim to contribute in designing the future and shaping life in the UAE.

Further consolidating the position of the United Arab Emirates as a global center for innovation, The Ministry of Interior, with support of Dalma Mall organized a 5-day long exhibition for the residents of Abu Dhabi, and emphasized on the importance of making qualitative leaps, embracing innovative ideas that form new solutions to future challenges in developing institutional work through the use of latest technologies. The exhibition was inaugurated by several VIPs from the ministry and the top management of the mall.

Additionally, Federal authority for Identity and Citizenship (FAIC) introduced visitors of the mall to the proactive and smart services provided by the authority to upgrade all of its services provided and explained how to use the ICA application. First 20 mall patrons who visited the kiosk of FAIC were rewarded an upgraded application with mall vouchers.

The UAE Innovation Month aims to celebrate innovation across the nation and it is one of the largest innovation festivals in the world and a consolidated effort by government and private sectors and individuals to help create widespread culture of innovation within the UAE.
