Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Festival 2020 welcomed the UK’s Ministry of Science Live to the UAE for the sixth year in association with Mubadala and in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development – bringing science to life as never seen before. The educational, entertaining, explosive live performance featured brilliantly designed demonstrations and extraordinary experiments to wow audiences in Abu Dhabi and across the Northern Emirates and Western Region and inspire academic interest towards STEAM-focused subjects (science, technology, engineering, art and math).

The production invited viewers, young and old, to embark on an immersive journey of discovery inside the fascinating world of science and learn more about scientists, inventors and engineers who have shaped and inspired the modern world.

Workshops amazed little scientists in the Ministry’s Cultural Centers across Ajman, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, as well as at the Abu Dhabi Theatre.

The production is an initiative by the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation as part of the Abu Dhabi Festival’s Youth Platforms and Community Programmes to engage, empower and nurture the UAE’s young creatives.
