** A Swiss prosecutor requested documents on Credit Suisse Chief Executive Tidjane Thiam to see if any criminal offences were committed during encounters between Thiam and the bank's former wealth management head Iqbal Khan last year, Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung reports on Sunday.

** "According to the prosecutor, it can be suspected that criminal offences were committed at Khan's or Thiam's houses," the paper says.

** Swiss media had reported that Thiam and Khan fell out at a party at Thiam's villa one year ago. Khan later quit his job to join rival UBS and Credit Suisse hired private investigators to shadow him, a surveillance operation that led to criminal proceedings and raised questions over Thiam's role in the affair.
