In aim of enhancing the services offered to ferries users

Abu Dhabi: The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi announced that starting from August 20, 2019; ferry services of Dalma Island in Abu Dhabi will be transferred from Mugharag Port to Jebel Al Dhanna Marsa.

This comes in part of ITC’s continuous endeavour to develop the maritime services in Al Dhafra Region. The transferring of the maritime services is part of a long-term plan to develop the maritime transport infrastructure to serve the continuous increase of ferry users.

The new passengers’ port is safer now as only light vehicles are allowed to enter the operational location at the port with no commercial activities allowed. Unlike the previous port that allowed heavy vehicle to use it. The infrastructure has been designed with the potential of expanding it in the future if needed.
