Emirates Motor Company Commercial Vehicles (EMC CV), the Authorized General Distributor of Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and a member of ALFAHIM Group, has entered into a new agreement with Erduman Automotive, a leading Turkish automotive bodywork company, for the manufacturing and conversion of people-mover vans and buses.

The newly-formed partnership proves to be both timely and strategic as Erduman has now become widely renowned as one of the best automotive bodybuilders and Mercedes-Benz van retrofitters in Turkey. EMC-CV will now be able to offer its customers with bespoke solutions covering the conversion of people-mover vehicles. These special customizations can include provision of luxurious interiors, conversion of a regular unit to a catering vehicle or food truck, and the like. In addition, bodywork services can also be applied to Mercedes-Benz buses used by travel and tour operators and transport companies.

Adem Erduman, Chairman, Erduman Automotive, said, “We are pleased to tie-up with EMC CV and provide top quality retrofitting solutions to a thriving market like Abu Dhabi. Moreover, we will work in close cooperation with our new partners to ensure excellence in every customer’s Mercedes-Benz vehicle customization requirements.”

Bilal Al Ribi, General Manager of EMC CV, said, “We are looking forward to this newly formed alliance allowing us to help address the increasing demand from customers for tailored customizations of their vehicles. The move demonstrates our continuing commitment to provide world-class products and services to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.”

EMC has become widely known as the authorized general distributor for Mercedes Benz in Emirate of Abu Dhabi since 1962.  In fact, the company's success symbolizes the continuing growth and development of its parent company, the ALFAHIM Group.
