If you are planning to board a flight in Dubai, you can now have yourself tested for COVID-19 without leaving your doorstep.

Baggage technology and logistics company DUBZ, operated by Emirates Group’s dnata, is offering rapid COVID-19 testing to people in Dubai who are planning a trip overseas.

A team of medical professionals will perform a swab test on all passengers ahead of the home check-in process if they have booked for home service, which is offered in partnership with healthcare provider Mediclinic.

The samples are then sent to a medical laboratory and the results, along with the medical certificate, are shared with the customers digitally within 24 to 48 hours of testing. The customer can choose to be tested at home or any other location that they prefer in Dubai.

Many countries around the world usually require arriving passengers to undergo a coronavirus test, as part of the safety protocols designed to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Dnata’s DUBZ has been offering travellers the option to complete their check-in process from their home or any location of choice, to avoid long queues at the airport.

Upon their arrival at the airport, customers are then met by agents from dnata’s airport hospitality brand marhaba, who will then fast-track them through immigration.
