Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade has tendered a project for the construction of an EGP 2.5 billion logistics area for dates and crops in El Wadi El Gedid Governorate.

The project comes in line with Egypt’s strategy for the development of internal trade which is aimed at the acceleration of internal trade’s growth, the increase of investments, and creation of jobs, according to the Middle East News Agency.

In June 2019, a contract was signed with the Internal Trade Development Authority for the construction of a commercial logistics area on 100 feddan with total investments of around EGP 2.5 billion.
