Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of local development, Mahmoud Shaarawy, announced that an amount of EGP 350 million has been transferred from the allocations for “Decent Life” initiative, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday.

The amount will be used to finance the first phase of the initiative in 143 villages in 11 governorates, Shaarawy added.

Total investments in the first phase of the initiative amount to EGP 3.9 billion, he noted.

A total of EGP 280 million will be allocated this week to finance sanitation projects and schools in the neediest villages in the country.
